About me and my therapy practice
As a Clinical Supervisor I believe that it is essential to have a safe, effective relationship within which to explore our practice, effectiveness as a therapist and our relationship within our therapeutic alliances.
As a current, practicing Counsellor, as well as Clinical Supervisor, I see counselling as an opportunity for to experience a safe, confidential and respectful space for in order to explore our emotional world. To allow you to gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and find your own solutions to problems. Effective Clinical Supervision is an essential safeguard and support system to ethical and effective practice
As, primarily, a Person-Centred Counsellor, I truly believe that we hold the answers within ourselves and that therapy gives us the space and time to find them.
I like to work collaboratively, flexibly and creatively in order for you to tailor the experience to your specific needs. I also have over 20 years experience of working in various roles within NHS mental health and well-being.
I enjoy working with trainee counsellors and may be able to offer discounts for longer-term work.
