About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Lisette, a Íø±¬ÃÅ-accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. For nearly 20 years, I’ve supported children, young people, adults, and older adults through life’s challenges, helping them feel more connected, grounded, and understood.
People come to therapy for many reasons—feeling anxious, low, or disconnected, struggling with relationships or self-esteem, or wanting to heal from past trauma. Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to face it alone.
I specialise in attachment and relational trauma, helping people explore how past experiences can affect identity, trust, and self-worth. Together, we can look at survival patterns, gently heal old wounds, and develop tools to feel more resilient and compassionate toward yourself.
As an integrative and trauma-informed therapist, I tailor my approach to your needs, values, and personality. Sometimes we focus on understanding the past; other times, we work on practical tools for coping and change. You set the pace, and I walk alongside you.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space built on safety and trust. Reaching out can feel daunting, but it’s a courageous step. If you’re ready, I’d be glad to support you on your journey toward greater connection, resilience, and freedom.
Practice description
I am an integrative counsellor. This means I have been trained in a range of counselling techniques and approaches, allowing me to shape my practice around each of my clients individual needs.
I believe in working collaboratively, so together we choose the starting point and the most effective therapies, adapting and changing according to your needs within the counselling process.
I will offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space in order for us establish a partnership built on trust and authenticity.
I work face to face out of my practice in central Winchester.
I offer a free 15 minute maximum phone consultation, to help answer any brief questions or concerns you may be experiencing about counselling. I am happy to answer initial queries via email or txt.
Assessment and Counselling sessions generally last 50 minutes.
Fees range between £60 - £90 dependent on whether it's adult, couples, or child/young person work.

My first session
Central to any 1-1 practice is the collaboration of the two involved, It is therefore very important that you feel comfortable with the counsellor you choose.
I offer a brief free of charge 15 minute telephone conversation to gain an overview of what you are seeking counselling for and answer any initial questions. Within this we will establish an agreed time for an initial consultation and weekly ongoing sessions. Initial consultations are chargeable at my regular fee.
Initial consultations involve a deeper exploration of what has brought you to counselling and a discussion of how we can work together. I am also required to gather some personal and medical information as well as talk through confidentiality and information processing as set out in my work agreement.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a Íø±¬ÃÅ accredited integrative counsellor and psychotherapist.
As an integrative therapist, I don’t believe one approach fits everyone. Instead, I adapt my way of working to suit the individual — drawing on different therapeutic traditions in a flexible and responsive way. Sometimes this means focusing on the here-and-now relationship and the importance of being heard and understood; at other times it might involve exploring deeper patterns, past experiences, or the ways we hold emotions in the body. Working integratively is about holding space for the whole person — thoughts, feelings, behaviours, relationships, and context — and tailoring the therapeutic process to meet those unique needs.
For me, integration is also about methodology: blending reflection with gentle challenge, insight with practical grounding, and always balancing safety with the opportunity for growth.
bring nearly two decades of frontline practice, drawing from my roles as a therapeutic social worker and as a manager of therapeutic and safeguarding services for children and young people. My career has been rooted in complex safeguarding practice and the leadership of services supporting those at risk of exploitation, going missing, relational harm, neglect, and abuse.
My entire professional journey has been dedicated to working in the area of trauma, primarily relational and sexual. I have supported children, young people, and adults who have experienced significant harm, as well as the practitioners and services that care for them. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of the ways trauma shapes people’s lives, relationships, and sense of safety — and how, with the right support, healing and resilience can emerge.
Practice description
In supervision, I hold a trauma-informed lens that balances compassion with accountability, always prioritising safety, stabilisation, and reflective growth. My aim is to provide a space where practitioners feel supported, resourced, and able to deepen their confidence and capacity in working with those who have experienced trauma.
At the heart of my supervision practice is relationship. I aim to create a space where you feel safe, valued, and able to bring your whole self as a practitioner. Supervision with me is a balance of warmth and gentle challenge:
*A space to reflect openly, without fear of judgement
*Time to explore the emotional impact of your work and how it shapes you
*Encouragement to think creatively about your practice and develop your own style
*A supportive relationship where accountability and care go hand in hand
My first session
I welcome an initial conversation to discuss whether we would work effectively together.
