About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, shaped by the individual needs of each client. My work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and an understanding that each person’s experience is unique. I aim to create a safe, neutral space where clients feel supported to reflect, process, and make sense of whatever they are facing.
I work with a wide range of concerns including low mood, depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, identity, and life transitions. I also have experience supporting individuals who feel stuck or emotionally overwhelmed but are unsure why.
I take particular care in working at a pace that feels safe and manageable for each person, especially when working with trauma or where trust has been impacted. I listen closely to what feels helpful and what doesn't, and adapt the process accordingly. Whether a client needs time to build trust before speaking, or prefers a more structured or conversational approach, I remain flexible and attuned to their preferences.
I believe therapy should not be about ‘fixing’ someone, but about making space for real and honest connection, where emotions can be understood, not judged. My aim is to support clients in developing greater awareness, emotional clarity, and the capacity to navigate life more freely, with a deeper understanding of themselves and their needs.
Practice description
My practice is based a short walk from South Woodford Underground station, offering a quiet and confidential space to explore emotional and psychological wellbeing. Sessions are available face-to-face or online, with options for both short-term and open-ended therapy depending on your needs.
In our sessions, I work collaboratively and at your pace. Some clients come with a clear focus, while others need time to unpack things gently. There is no right or wrong way to begin. You are welcome as you are.
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and calm. My approach is non-judgemental and attentive, rooted in the belief that meaningful change begins with feeling heard and understood. Whether you're navigating a specific difficulty or are simply feeling low, lost, or stuck, I’ll aim to meet you where you are and support you in making sense of your experience.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute initial phone or video consultation so you can ask questions, talk through what you’re looking for, and get a feel for how I work before committing to sessions. There’s no expectation to decide on the spot, it’s simply a chance to connect and consider next steps together.
Once you have taken the step to embark on your journey of therapy, I ask prospective clients to complete a brief assessment form during our first session to get a sense of your history and experiences.
