About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Kay - Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor (BA Hons, MÍø±¬ÃÅ)
Welcome, and thank you for visiting my profile.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the power of connection and collaboration. I use a range of therapeutic approaches blended to suit your individual needs. Together, we will explore what matters most to you, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
I offer a calm, supportive, and confidential space where you can speak openly and be truly heard. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and rooted in the belief that every person is unique and capable of growth and healing.
Within my practice I have worked with a diverse range of clients, many of whom have presented with significant trauma from varying life experiences and all types of background.
I have particular experience supporting adults who have experienced grief and loss, sexual violence (both recent and historic), coercive control, unhealthy relationships, and a wide range of challenges that impact our mental wellbeing.
My goal is to create a genuine, non-judgemental therapeutic relationship, where what remains unspoken can be safely shared. I work respectfully and collaboratively, listening closely to what is and isn’t working, so that therapy stays supportive, empowering, and attuned to your needs.
If you'd like to find out more or explore working together, please feel free to get in touch, I’d be happy to hear from you.
Practice description
Our sessions will begin with a check-in, allowing time for reflection from the previous session and the time in-between. I will then follow your lead and together we will explore.
At the end we will check-out with a short review, allowing time to recount and remember that of significance, which you may take from the session for reflection going forward.
