About me and my therapy practice
I am Íø±¬ÃÅ Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist and supervisor offering short and long-term Counselling and CBT to adults and young people at my practice in Maidstone. My approach is integrative, and tailored to best suit your needs.
I have over 10 years experience having worked within the NHS IAPT service, and within a specialist organisation working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse and other sexual offences.
I have a passion for therapy and if you are receptive to working creatively, then I am more than happy to bring this aspect into the work.
My training and experience allow me to help clients with a broad array of issues including anxiety, low-mood/depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, phobias, PTSD, sexual issues, relationships, self-esteem, self-harm, work-related issues, health issues, addiction and redundancy amongst others.
I appreciate that choosing to enter therapy can be a daunting step to take. My hope is that through providing a comfortable and welcoming, empathic and non-judgmental space, that you will quickly see the benefits in the work we do together.
I am a recognised provider with a number of healthcare insurers, who may cover the cost of therapy within your membership.
In keeping with the requirements of my professional body and the health insurers I am registered with, I have full professional indemnity insurance and enhanced DBS Certification.
