About me and my therapy practice
If you’ve spent years putting others first, people-pleasing, or questioning yourself after painful relationships, you’re not alone. Therapy can offer you a space to heal and grow in confidence.
Recovering from a painful relationship, whether it was romantic, friendship or that of a family member, can feel like you’ve lost touch with who you are. Perhaps you find that you’re always trying to keep the peace to keep everyone around you happy and, in return, feel like your needs are never being met.
I help women to stop shrinking themselves to fit unhealthy patterns they’ve become used to accepting. I’ll help you to increase your self-worth, confidence, and create healthy boundaries by creating space for deep reflection, healing and change to create shifts throughout your life that will last long after counselling ends.
Therapy can help you to heal and grow in confidence by:
Helping you to set boundaries and manage other people's expectations so that you can feel less guilt over doing what’s right for you.
Offering you a space to talk freely and openly so that you feel heard, empowered and safe to share your story.
Encouraging you to slow down and make more time for you so that you can begin to live a life that isn’t ruled by anxiety.
Talking through any physical symptoms you might be experiencing (e.g, nightmares, nausea, headaches) so that we can make a plan together and you can start to feel healthier and sleep better.
Therapy with me is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I’ll help you make sense of your experiences, gently challenge old patterns, and learn to treat yourself with the same care and kindness you offer others.
I know what it’s like to heal from difficult relationships, to wonder why you wasn’t good enough, to worry how you will manage on your own because I’ve lived through those fears and so I truly understand how powerful it is to finally choose yourself, to make those brave but scary decisions and to show up for yourself and to do what works for you.
Practice description
Previous clients I’ve been fortunate enough to support have told me therapy helped them to feel lighter, less stuck, able to say no and to feel more confident and ready to make decisions about their future.
You deserve a life where you feel seen, safe, and free to be fully you.
If any of what I’ve shared here resonates, I’d love the opportunity to connect with you, please email me for a free, no obligation 15-minute phone call where we can see whether we’re a good fit and you can ask me any questions you might have.

I'm available for supervision weekdays from 10am
About me and my therapy practice
I believe in empowering and encouraging supervisees to become the counsellors they want to be, which is why I feel so passionate about supervision.
The work we do as therapists isn’t always easy and it can be isolating so it's important to have a space you can go to where you feel comfortable sharing the highs and lows of your work.
I hope to offer a collaborative space that feels supportive and challenging as you reflect on your work and grow as a counsellor and individual.
An introduction to me and why I became a Supervisor
After years of thoroughly enjoying being a counsellor, I developed a real joy of working with student counsellors and realised I loved being a small part of their journey into the world of therapy, after a few nudges from my own supervisor, I decided I'd like to be able to offer supervision to students as well as therapy.
Therefore I’m able to offer supervision to both training and qualified counsellors however, I have a particular passion for supporting training and newly qualified therapists either on placement or who are at the early stages of private practice.
Experience and how I work
I have seven years of experience as an integrative counsellor, combining several models into my practice, working from a person-centred core. I'm trained in the 7-eyed model of supervision and love how this allows me to get a good sense of supervisees and their clients while always considering our relationship.
As a whole, I work very relationally, being a naturally intuitive person I've learned to incorporate this skill into my practice and I therefore bring all of me into the work that I do.
I have experience working in private practice, charity organisations, EAP's, and counselling helplines, in person, online and over the phone.
I'm trained in email therapy so if this is something you're interested in offering to your clients, or are already offering, I'm able to supervise you with this and fully understand the differences involved with this way of working.
