About me and my therapy practice

I’m an integrative counsellor with extensive counselling experience. My main focus is helping people with anxiety, relationship difficulties, and the life challenges that can come with being neurodivergent (as well as neurotypical). I work with both adults and young people, offering a calm, supportive space to explore thoughts, feelings, and patterns that may be holding you back.

Alongside my counselling work, I’m also a counselling tutor, helping students develop the skills and self-awareness needed to support others. Teaching keeps my practice grounded, reflective, and informed by the latest thinking in mental health and wellbeing. I also deliver courses for Oxfordshire MIND.

I’m Íø±¬ÃÅ accredited and trained to Level 6 in Therapeutic Supervision.

Practice description

This is a space to talk, reflect, and get support without judgment. My role is to help you make sense of what’s happening and find steady ground when things feel uncertain.

I offer counselling that adapts to you, not the other way around. We’ll look at what’s working, what isn’t, and what might need to change. Sessions are led by your pace and focused on what matters most to you.

I’ve kept the information here brief because, like my therapy style, I prefer to work with what you bring, not a set agenda, just honest conversations that move at your pace.

My first session

Our first session lasts about 50 minutes. We’ll talk about what’s brought you here and what you’d like to get from counselling. I’ll ask a few questions to understand your situation, and you’ll have space to ask anything you need to know about how I work.

I’ll explain my approach and go through some simple paperwork so things stay clear and straightforward.

By the end, we’ll look at what the next steps could be and whether continuing feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice

My formal training as an Integrative Supervisor incorporates a qualification in Therapeutic Supervision at CPCAB Level 6.

With a background in mental health since 2011 I have amassed a wealth of experience in working alongside individuals presenting with a wide range of mental health troubles and difficult life experiences. From complex needs and neuro-diversity to the more common, lower-level mental health difficulties that many of us experience. As well as this, I have a robust understanding of addiction-related issues and interventions through both agency and private re-hab work.

Practice description

I run a  private practice from the centre of abingdon alongside my day work for Oxfordshire MIND - embeded in children's social care (OCC - Family solutions plus) working with adults that experience mental health difficulties that are under the care of a social worker.
