About me and my therapy practice

I am a Íø±¬ÃÅ Accredited integrative counsellor (MSc Therapeutic Counselling) which means I draw upon a range of different theoretical perspectives to best suit your needs. My aim is to provide a safe, empathic, confidential and non-judgemental space for you to talk openly and freely about whatever has brought you to counselling.

Through establishing a warm, collaborative therapeutic relationship, I can support you to gain a better understanding of the things that are on your mind and the difficulties you are facing. This can enable you to find different ways of looking at and addressing issues.

I bring to my practice an understanding of trauma-informed, inclusive and intercultural practice and I have worked with a diverse range of clients presenting with issues including anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship issues and childhood trauma. At present, alongside my private practice, I am the Counselling Lead at a Community Counselling Service in South East London.

To find out more about how I might be able to help you, please do get in touch.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Practice description

As an integrative counsellor,  I work with a variety of therapeutic approaches and methods, and combine them to suit the needs of each individual client. The approaches that I use include person-centred, psychodynamic, solution focussed, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).

Situated a five-minute walk from Blackheath village, my practice premises are discreet, comfortable and easily accessible by public transport. There is also ample street parking available.

Each therapy session costs £60 and lasts for fifty minutes.  I also offer telephone and online counselling.

I have some concessionary rate slots available for counsellors in training.

My first session

Before meeting for our first session, I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation over the phone or online. This allows us to briefly explore what you are hoping to get out of therapy, talk about how we might work together, and for you to ask any questions that you may have.

About me and my therapy practice

I am an accredited counsellor, registered with the British Association of Counselling & Therapy (MÍø±¬ÃÅ Accred) and abide by the Íø±¬ÃÅ Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I have an MSc in Therapeutic Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical Supervision.

I am an integrative counsellor incorporating person-centred, psychodynamic, solution focussed, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) into my practice. I carry these theoretical ideas into my supervisory role, utilising the seven-eyed process model of supervision.

At present, alongside my private practice, I am the Counselling Lead at a Community Counselling Service in South East London.

Practice description

I offer in person, online and telephone supervision, mainly utilising the seven-eyed model of supervision which focuses on developing practice in areas relating to interventions, relational dynamics, client process, supervisee process as well as taking into account the wider context.

I bring to my work as a supervisor an understanding of trauma-informed, inclusive and intercultural practice. I offer supervision to trainee and experienced counsellors whose clients present with wide-ranging issues.

Within supervision I draw on a range of theoretical concepts from approaches including psychodynamic, person-centred, trauma-informed, attachment and solution focussed.

Situated a five-minute walk from Blackheath village, my practice premises are discreet, comfortable and easily accessible by public transport. There is also ample street parking available.

The fee for Clinical Supervision £70 per 60 minute session. Concessionary rates are possible for counsellors who are in training.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation over the phone or online to discuss your supervision requirements and how we might work together. It also provides the opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have.
