About me and my therapy practice
Íø±¬ÃÅ-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist working with adults facing anxiety, self-doubt, overwhelm, or relationship difficulties.
I offer a collaborative, and reflective space to better understand yourself and move towards meaningful change.
My clients come to therapy for many reasons, including:
- Anxiety and overwhelm
- Stress and burnout
- Self esteem
- Perfectionism
- Relationship issues
- Feeling low or stuck
Who I work with:
I often work with clients who describe themselves as overthinkers - who may appear to be managing well from the outside but inwardly feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected.
I also support clients curious about their ways of relating - perhaps feeling more dependent or distant in relationships than they’d like, struggling to express their needs, people-pleasing, or simply wishing to feel more secure.
How I work:
My core approach is humanistic and relational, which means I see you as an individual. My hope is that we can build a relationship where you can think about what’s brought you to therapy, as well as who and how you are in the world.
I hold in mind how our early experiences can impact how we think, feel and act, and encourage clients to reflect and understand themselves more deeply. This can open up new ways of thinking and responding - both to oneself and others.
Through therapy, clients often describe feeling more confident, better able to cope with stress, and more at home within themselves.
Specialisms:
I specialise in working with anxiety in an integrative way, often supporting those who haven't found CBT so helpful.
I have particular experience working with people in professional helping, pastoral or leadership roles, such as healthcare professionals, teachers, clergy or high-level managers - those often relied upon by others. I understand the huge emotional toll these roles can take, and the difficulty of prioritising your own needs.
Finding a therapist can be a daunting process so please get in touch and we can explore how we might work together.
Practice description
I work with clients from a counselling room in the centre of town. My room is part of a set of therapy rooms and there is a waiting room and other practitioners in the building.
I also offer online therapy via zoom or via phone.
I offer both short-term (time limited) or open-ended therapy.
My first session

Towards the end of the session we'll think together about whether we might be a good fit and you can then take some time to consider whether you'd like to begin working together.
