About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling anxious, low in confidence, or simply stuck—like something in life just isn’t quite right?
Perhaps you’re caught in the same patterns of thinking or behaviour, even though you long for change. Maybe you’re struggling with low self-esteem, persistent negative thoughts, or a sense of overwhelm that’s hard to shift.
I can help.
Counselling offers a unique opportunity to explore your inner world in a space that’s safe, confidential, and free of judgment. Being truly heard by someone who is present, empathic, and impartial can be deeply transformative—opening the door to new perspectives, greater clarity, and a stronger connection to your own inner strengths.
I’m a qualified and experienced therapist who works with honesty, empathy, and a down-to-earth approach. I offer a supportive space where we can work together to understand what’s holding you back and how to move forward.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 20 years in a corporate role while raising a family. I understand the mental load of parenting, the pressure of juggling personal and professional responsibilities, and the emotional toll that burnout can take. These life experiences deeply inform the compassionate, practical way I work with clients today.
Practice description
I trained in Humanistic Psychotherapy at Spectrum Therapy Centre in North London, now known as The Highgate Studio, where I continue to work.
I also see clients from my private practice in Bromley, South London.
I began my psychotherapy journey in 2008, initially focused on my own personal development and then went on to complete my full professional training in 2011.
What shaped me most during my training was the practical approach — meaning I had to do work on myself first, and that’s something I’ve never stopped doing.
I believe that to support others well, you have to be willing to look at yourself with honesty and compassion.

I use our first session as a chance to get to know each other and agree if we would like to work together ongoingly.

I will also ask for you to complete some details so I am able to contact you if needed.
