About me and my therapy practice

My way of working involves a blend of various approaches to counselling meaning that I am able to meet the needs of each individual client that I work with. I strongly believe that every person’s experience of therapy should, like you, be unique.  I have experience of working therapeutically with people who bring a broad range of personal difficulties within  a variety of settings and organisations.

It is my aim to provide you with a space that is safe, confidential and free of judgement, so that you are able to take time away from the stresses and pressures of life to freely explore whatever is troubling you.

I have experience in supporting clients with a wide range of issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, dealing with anger, as well as relationship difficulties, Narcissistic abuse, and working to understand sexuality and identity to name but a few.

Each session will last 50 minutes, typically meeting on a weekly basis, with the view that this can be flexible depending on your circumstances.  i work in an open ended way, meaning that we are not limited to a set number of sessions.

If you have any further questions or would like to discuss making an appointment, please do not hesitate to contact me. Please be assured that all communication is treated with the strictest of confidence.

further information about me and the services I offer are also available to view on my website, if you would like to like to find out more.

All enquires are welcome.

Practice description

In addition to individual therapy sessions am also able to support those experiencing difficulties within their relationships, whether this is as a couple, partnership, or family members.

My first session

what can you expect when we meet for the first time?

Talking to someone about the difficulties you are experiencing can feel scary. This is why I offer a no obligation introductory session at the price of £20. (£25 for couples)

This gives us an opportunity to meet face to face and discuss what it is you hope to gain from counselling and for you to ask any questions you may have. This initial meeting allows you to find out a little more about me and how I work. In turn, I can also share with you a little more of what the process of counselling will involve and next steps after our first session.
