About me and my therapy practice
Maybe you're thinking about counselling because you're struggling with difficult life events, sadness, anxiety or overwhelming feelings? Or perhaps you just have a sense that there must be more to life than this? If this is you, I am so pleased you have found your way to my profile.
I offer a warm and accepting space in which to make sense of your emotions and experiences and find a way forward to a calmer, more fulfilling way of living.
I am a qualified, registered and experienced counsellor. In addition to 7 years in private practice, I have worked for two leading local counselling organisations and as a counsellor and a mental health practitioner within the NHS.
I work with people who are looking for a few sessions simply to develop better strategies for living, as well as with people who are seeking longer-term therapy to tackle deep psychological issues or work on their personal development. I also work with trainee counsellors.
I have been awarded accreditation by the 网爆门 - a status reserved for therapists who have demonstrated higher levels of experience and skill.

I have undertaken further training in Compassion-focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Trauma, Suicidal Ideation and Integrated Family Systems.
I am a qualified reiki/energy/somatic healer and integrate this with my psychotherapy (in consultation with my client) as well as offering this separately.
Fees:
拢50 for an hour.
I am happy to discuss reduced fees depending on circumstances
Practice description
My counselling room is quiet and private and is easily reached from Newcastle town centre and is less than 5 minutes from the A500.
My first session
Our first session is your opportunity to get to know me and how I work. The space will be yours to outline what has brought you into therapy.
I will answer any questions you may have about the counselling process and my Counselling Agreement.
I do not undertake a formal assessment.
