Sometimes you need someone to talk to who is completely removed from your life. Someone who you don’t feel guilty for opening up to about problems, or as though you are burdening them with your troubles, as it can do when we confide in friends or family. 

I will give you that opportunity, enabling you to be completely honest, be accepted just as you are and help you to see things from different perspectives. 

Counselling enables you to gain the strength to move forwards through difficult times in your life, understand yourself more fully and build skills to support your mental health. 

I have lived experience of sudden bereavement, loss and grief. I have also supported others through this. Loss is often linked with someone dying, but we experience loss in all kinds of ways - the loss of a way of life, losing your job, your home, having to move away from everyone, events can lead you to losing your identity and wondering who you are. All of these things can have a huge impact and lead you to needing to grieve for what has gone before being able to continue. 

Counselling with me gives you somewhere safe to let your emotions out, to us jumble your thoughts, to process your grief and begin to move forwards. 

Sessions are available either in person or online. 

All face to face sessions are in a counselling room within The Workstation, Rockstone Place.

The main door is accessed via 8 steps. Access to the counselling room is by 55 stairs or small lift. 

On street pay & display parking is available on Rockstone Place and surrounding roads. There are also carparks nearby. 

Supervision is not just a place to discuss your clients, it is also a supportive space to question why you work the way you do, challenge your thinking and understand more about you as a therapist. It’s also a space to celebrate your successes and highlight any areas for developement. 

I will encourage you to explore what your client work brings up for you, let you know when you’re doing well and challenge you when needed. 

Most importantly we will work together to ensure you are working ethically and in a way that is true to yourself.
