About me and my therapy practice
Deciding to see a counsellor can be a difficult step to take. We don’t always find it easy to acknowledge when we are struggling with anxiety and finding it hard to cope, feeling overwhelmed with loss oro facing difficulties in a relationship.
Our day to day lives involve so many demands that it can be an effort to take a break and give some proper attention to our own wellbeing. Talking through your concerns with someone who is not part of your life gives you the freedom to focus on yourself.
I will listen with compassion and understanding and I'll get to know your experience of being you. I won’t tell you what to do or what choices to make because you know yourself better than anyone. I will support your exploration of what you're dealing with and what’s not working, and together we can consider what changes you might want to make.
I work confidentially and without judgement so you can share your worries and fears, no matter how confusing or dark they may be. I’ll respond to whatever you bring, drawing on different approaches and techniques to find an effective way of working that suits you.

I offer an initial short (20 minute) consultation on the phone or online, at no cost.

About me and my therapy practice
My approach in supervision is to develop a collaborative relationship between two professionals. I offer a space where you can reflect on your practice and explore challenges in a supportive and constructive way. As your supervisor, I want to give you the space to grow as a therapist and build your skills, confidence and knowledge, alongside ensuring you feel supported professionally.
I trained as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, combining Person-Centred, Gestalt and TA approaches and have been in private practice for 8 years. Over the past 3 years I’ve volunteered for Cruse as a group supervisor and in this capacity I’ve worked with trainee counsellors on placement at Cruse as well as experienced volunteers. My supervision training focused on the Seven Eyed Model and has equipped me to work effectively online as well as in person.
If you're interested in working with me, I'd be happy to arrange a call to see if I'm a good fit to support your counselling practice.
Practice description
I offer a reduced rate for trainee counsellors and those starting out in private practice.
