Remote Support – Online and Telephone Counselling

Sessions are available via Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp, FaceTime, and telephone for clients across the UK and worldwide.

Some people are hesitant about counselling that isn’t delivered face-to-face, worrying that it may feel less effective or personal. However, remote therapy is simply an alternative approach that can be just as valuable, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle and circumstances.

I have undertaken specialist training to adapt my skills for remote settings providing the same level of professional support in a way that works best for you.

About me and my therapy practice

I have extensive experience in counselling, psychotherapy, and the business sector, having worked in diverse environments. My journey to becoming a therapist began after a life-changing experience that prompted me to reassess my future. With the support of skilled therapy, I gained clarity, made meaningful changes, and moved forward. This transformative experience inspired my decision to train in counselling and psychotherapy, shaping the approach I use today.

I believe therapy is a deeply personal process that should adapt to each individual’s needs. My priority is always to serve the client’s best interests, ensuring they receive the maximum benefit from our work together. I foster a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space, providing compassion, care, and respect to empower clients to unlock their potential.

The foundation of my work lies in building collaborative, trusting relationships. The success of therapy is reflected in the trust clients place in me and their growth over time. Witnessing shifts in perspective and positive change is immensely rewarding.

My approach is open-minded, intuitive, and down-to-earth, offering an interactive, engaging, and adaptable style of therapy. I bring warmth, strength, and energy to my work, creating a supportive environment with appropriate challenges when needed.

I believe that no single therapy fully addresses the complexities of an individual’s challenges. Psychological issues are often multi-faceted, requiring a variety of therapeutic approaches for meaningful change. Therefore I use an Integrative Approach, combining techniques from Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Experiential and Creative therapies. This enables me to tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs.

I follow Íø±¬ÃÅ guidelines, attend monthly supervision, and hold an enhanced DBS certificate. Committed to professional growth, I continuously update my skills through research, courses, and seminars.

Practice description

Individual Counselling

I offer therapy to support individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. You may be struggling with a past or recent trauma, feeling stuck, or simply sensing that something isn’t right. It’s natural to believe you should manage difficulties alone, but therapy provides a space where you can be heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

My approach helps you reflect on your life, recognise patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and gain clarity on personal struggles. Therapy can offer insight into past and present conflicts, help you navigate painful realities, and identify your strengths and resources. Whether you’re exploring changes or coming to terms with aspects of life beyond your control, therapy fosters self-awareness, healing, and growth.

This process is not about quick fixes or advice-giving but about developing a deeper understanding of yourself over time. With commitment and openness, therapy empowers you to move forward with confidence and resilience.

Couples / Relationship Counselling

In my work with couples and relational dynamics, I take an active role in their interactions, supporting both partners as they navigate challenges together.

I help identify and build on the couple’s strengths by exploring what has worked well in their relationship while also examining unhelpful patterns. Understanding how personal histories shape their ability to connect fosters healthier, more supportive dynamics.

Through guided conversation, I facilitate both verbal and non-verbal communication, helping partners recognize and break destructive cycles. By providing real-time feedback and encouraging new ways of relating, I create opportunities for meaningful change. This experiential approach allows couples to practice and embody healthier interactions rather than just discussing them.

My first session

Reaching out for professional support can feel daunting, but it could be the step that helps you regain the sense of control you’re looking for. Even if you’re unsure whether the time is right or if therapy is the right path for you, please feel free to call, message, or email me in complete confidence. I’m happy to answer any questions and discuss the process to help put your mind at ease.

If you feel ready to begin therapy, you can contact me via telephone or email to arrange an initial assessment session.

During the assessment, I will gather background information, explore what has brought you to therapy, and discuss your hopes, expectations, and goals. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have, and together, we can determine whether we feel comfortable working together.

If we decide to proceed, sessions are typically scheduled on a regular weekly basis, either short-term or long-term, depending on your needs – but ultimately the frequency of sessions is entirely your choice.
