About me and my therapy practice

Are you looking for an experienced supervisor who is interested in you as a person, your practice and in working collaboratively to develop your professional work with your clients?

My own practice is extensive and varied both in voluntary and paid roles in the third sector and in Private Practice.  I have a particular interest in working with clients with life limiting illnesses and their families and clients in bereavement.

Practice description

If you are looking for supervision - you will have ideas of your own about what supervision looks like and how this might support you and help you to develop and grow your practice. I would be interested in hearing about your thoughts. Are you looking for understanding and reassurance, or are you hoping for challenge and thought provoking ideas to expand and grow as a therapist or perhaps a mixture of the two? I would be interested in working collaboratively with you to keep your client's wellbeing and safety in the centre of the process. I can offer supervision from both a person centred and a cognitive behavioural perspective; I believe that the nature and quality of the therapeutic relationship between the therapist and the client is key. I have fifteen years of varied counselling experience - because I have moved around the country extensively, I have worked with more supervisors than is usual; the experience of working with them, and what they have taught me along the way, has enriched beyond measure what I have to offer to you.

My first session

I offer a free telephone call of 30 minutes to discuss what you are looking for and for us to decide whether working together in supervision would be useful.
