About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Dena. Starting clinical supervision is an essential step and a worthwhile investment in your professional development. Whether you've been considering it for some time or have recently felt the need, congratulations on taking this important action. Clinical supervision can significantly enhance your practice.
I ventured into Counselling because of my passion for helping people, which I discovered during my corporate career. With over 10 years in the field, I am now a qualified Level 6 Supervisor and hold an advanced DBS check. I'd be honoured to support you through your clinical supervision journey and look forward to working with you.
Practice description
I work in private practice and through various EAP and Insurance providers offering short-term and long-term therapy. My therapy practice is set up to accommodate one-to-one therapy both digitally and face to face with enough room to accommodate a small family session or a Group supervision session, (Group supervision session prices are available upon request, the cohort of the group should be solely organised by the group themselves and adhere to the ethical framework of the awarding body e.g the NCPS or Íø±¬ÃÅ)
My first session
Supervision is a critical part of the work we do for, and with, our clients, with this in mind I feel it's vital to ensure you find the 'right fit' for your supervisor, given that we've all come on a similar journey, cost of our training.. investment in self... CPD.. Insurance.. the list goes on doesn't it!? I like to offer the first introduction session to all new supervises free of charge, this may take the form of a quick call or a visit to my therapy suite or a virtual meet, whatever feels right for you. you can book your introduction session by following my booking link here:
