About me and my therapy practice
I am a highly committed and approachable psychotherapist, qualified to Masters level, with extensive NHS and private practice experience. I work hard for my clients—not only to listen but to actively engage with what they are going through. My approach is thoughtful, skilled, and rooted in a genuine commitment to helping you move forward.
Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, low, stressed, or uncertain about the way ahead. You may be dealing with trauma, loss, fertility issues, or relationship challenges. Whatever you are facing, you do not have to manage it alone.
Together, we can create a supportive space where you can grow, cope with challenges more effectively, and find healthier ways to move forward.
I offer both short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, fertility, work-related stress, trauma, loss and bereavement. I also have a special interest in relationship issues, life transitions, postnatal depression, and LGBTQ+ experiences.
If you feel ready to take the first step, I would be glad to hear from you and talk through how we might work together.
Practice description
Therapy can be a powerful and life-changing process. It is more than a conversation. It offers the chance to understand yourself more deeply, change patterns that hold you back, and begin to build a life that feels healthier and more balanced.
You do not need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to say. What matters most is that you are ready for something to change.
In our sessions, you can expect a private and supportive space where you are truly heard and taken seriously. I am an active therapist, which means I do more than listen. I offer thoughts, questions and practical suggestions so we can explore your experiences together and work on new ways forward.
You may be looking for short-term support to help manage a specific issue. Or you may notice the same patterns and feelings repeating in your life, where longer-term therapy can help work through deeper issues.
We might look at how past experiences, beliefs or patterns affect your life now, always at a pace that feels right for you. I draw on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques and Trauma-informed Approaches, using whatever best supports your needs and goals.
Over time, therapy can help you make sense of your emotions, develop healthier coping strategies, improve relationships and feel more confident in who you are. My aim is to meet you where you are, walk alongside you and support you in moving towards the life you want to live.
