About me and my therapy practice
Whether you're feeling stuck in life, experiencing anxiety or depression, or facing relationship issues that feel difficult to resolve, counselling can help. These are common challenges, and you're not alone in facing them. I draw on three well-established approaches in my practice—psychodynamic, person-centred (also known as humanistic), and cognitive-behavioural therapy—as well as EMDR therapy for working with trauma. This integrative approach offers flexibility and choice, allowing us to tailor therapy to support your individual needs and personal goals.
Practice description
My practice is based in the S10 area of Sheffield, where I work with adults in a quiet, calm office space designed to support reflection and emotional safety. It’s a welcoming environment where you can take time to explore whatever’s on your mind at your own pace.
My first session
Our first session together is an opportunity to explore what brings you to therapy and assess whether we’re a good fit to work together. This initial meeting isn’t a commitment to ongoing therapy but rather a space to discuss your concerns, ask questions, and decide whether my approach feels right for you. It’s an important part of ensuring the support you receive is both appropriate and effective.
