I work two days per week in central Frome, with lots of nearby parking. If you prefer to work online, I work throughout the week over Zoom and other platforms.
Currently I have limited availability and do not have a waiting list.
I use she/her pronouns. I believe we are evolving beings, I am inclusive of whoever you were, are, or hope to be, as well as whoever or however you love.
I am not currently taking on contracts for couples/ dyads/ intimate partner relationships.
NB The practice rooms are not wheelchair accessible, the buildings on Cheap Street are 16th century and there are stairs upwards to the rooms. I acknowledge the discriminatory impact this may have on you regarding face to face work with me.
About me and my therapy practice
If you're looking for a truly transformative therapy-one that brings real change and a deeper understanding of yourself - you may be drawn to Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS sessions are collaborative and client-led. Rather than focusing on fixing symptoms, we gently turn inward to explore what's really happening beneath the surface-in your thoughts, emotions, sensations, and inner dialogue.
I support you to get to know your inner system and develop relationships and understanding with the parts of you that protect, the ones that carry pain, and the ones that may feel in conflict. Over time, you'll learn how to listen to these 'parts' with compassion and how to respond to them from your Self- a place, or presence within you that is calm, clear, confident, and kind.
We meet what arises in the moment, with patience and care. This inward approach allows healing to unfold from the inside out, tapping into your system's natural wisdom and self-leadership.
IFS can be particularly helpful for people who:
Feel stuck in repetitive emotional or relational patterns
Experience a strong inner critic or self-judgment
Overly manage the emotions or behaviours of themselves or others
Struggle with boundaries, identity, or people-pleasing
Have a history of complex trauma, neglect, or attachment wounding
Feel emotionally overwhelmed, numb, or disconnected from themselves
You don't need to fully understand the model before beginning - just a willingness to explore your inner world with support.
This model moves at your unique pace towards integration, healing, and growth.
Practice description
I bring to this work a deep respect for the complexity and resilience of each person's system. Sessions are warm, grounded, and collaborative - with space for curiosity, humour, depth, and patience.
I am an integrative counsellor and my main modality is working with the Internal Family Systems model. Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) can also be part of your therapeutic process; significant clinical trials (2023) evidenced 8 DBR sessions improving PTSD symptoms.
The magic of Deep Brain Reorienting lies in its focus on a critical moment that other trauma therapies may miss- the very first moments of shock. Processing is grounded and anchored, reducing flooding or overwhelm. DBR is collaborative, non invasive, and does not require retelling past trauma. In fact, you may not want to say much about it to me.
If you find that your body is braced most of the time, ruminate, "over react", or if you feel disconnected or numb- DBR may help you. Whether you are "holding something" from a one off incident or from wounding relationships you'll be interested to feel incremental shifts and a building sense of well-being.
Please take a look at my website for more information.
IFS and DBR work well online and I have studied and worked with therapists working online. If you are working with any form of dissociation, working comfortably from your own familiar room, and being able to do whatever you need after our session is possible.
If any of the above resonates with you and would like to explore working together with either IFS or DBR, (or are new to this) we can decide what you feel is best for you.
Please get in touch with me and we can discuss things together. Whatever experiences you are carrying, whoever you are, I am interested to hear from you.
Whether or NOT you have had adverse childhood experiences, I work with all people - high achieving professionals, the "outsiders", the marginalised, and you are welcome to contact me.
My first session
An introductory session is offered once a mutually agreed day and session time can suit both of us going forward: sessions are usually on the same day and time each week, fortnightly sessions can be agreed upon in some cases.
An introductory session is free of charge and we will be talking through what is bringing you here, now, and deciding whether I am what you are looking for.
If we feel that I can offer you what you want, and we are a good fit, we will begin a contract together and I will send you all the information you need for this.
My current fee is £60 for individual and £75 dyad/couples. I have a small number of lower fee sessions available, please ask if you are on a lower income. If I cannot offer one to you at this time I can signpost you to other services if you ask me.
Sessions at The Cheap Street Rooms are centrally located in Frome with lots of nearby parking.
I am seeing clients Face to Face from my practice in Frome and online via Zoom.
Sessions are 50 minutes for individuals and an hour for couples/intimate partnerships

Hello,
I am an IFS Level 2 trained practitioner and have been using Internal Family Systems (IFS) as my primary therapeutic model since 2021.
If you’re interested in exploring your clinical work integratively, or would like to develop your practice through an IFS lens, I’d be delighted to connect. Whether you’re new to the IFS model and seeking greater clarity about how to apply it, or exploring how it can integrate with your existing approach, I offer a supportive, curious space for reflection and growth.
Whatever your starting point or curiosity, please take a look at my website for more information — and feel free to get in touch.
I am undertaking a diploma in clinical supervision with the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology, COSRT accredited. Supervision costs will reflect my training status. We can discuss secondary supervision needs and requirements, ethics and other considerations and ensure that we are working within best practice.
About me and my therapy practice
I am a trauma-informed counsellor and training supervisor offering creative and systemic support and exploration for practitioners and their clients. My supervision approach draws on the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision and integrates perspectives from Liz Martins and Emma Redfern’s FP8 model.
I am particularly interested in bringing Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles into the process and content of supervision. The IFS model, developed originally for client work, offers a trauma-informed, relational, and systemic lens that supports supervisees to explore their internal parts and relational dynamics with curiosity and compassion whilst the clients' systems are explored in depth.
My practice is shaped by my personal and professional experiences, years of working with my own system and sitting alongside courageous clients who have taught me so much about healing, resilience, and connection.
My intention as a supervisor is to foster deeper connection, reflection, and growth — within ourselves, our work, and our clients’ worlds.
This is an evolving, anti-oppressive practice, grounded in an ongoing commitment to understanding and challenging the structural forces that traumatise and disconnect us from ourselves and each other.
I work online and in person in Frome. The practice rooms are 16th Century and are not wheel chair accessible, the stairs are steep and I acknowledge the impact this can have on people seeking face to face work together.
