I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.

Since qualifying as a counsellor in 2012 my work has been predominately with young people and their families based in local high schools. 

Today's young people are faced with a unique set of challenges and I believe, at a time, where mental health is at the forefront of our minds, they are accessing counselling more frequently for a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, identity, self esteem and stress. 

Counselling can give you the time and support to begin to understand and make sense of those feelings that distress you, so life begins to feel more manageable. The exploration of these feelings takes place in my home office, a safe and confidential, non - judgmental and accepting environment. 

As a qualified Trauma and Mental Health Informed Practitioner I have the skills and knowledge to respond effectively to vulnerable young people who have experienced trauma and/or have a mental health issue, using core skills to help alleviate suffering and bring about trauma recovery.

I welcome all enquiries from young people and their families as well as adults. My experience also includes working with adults for various non profitable organisations and the local IAPT service.

In addition I am a qualified clinical supervisor offering supervision to both students on placement and qualified counsellors

For both Counselling and Clinical Supervision I can work online or face to face. Face to face work takes place in my Nantwich home. Online work can take place nationwide.

The first session would be an exploration of your difficulties that led you to counselling. We would discuss how and when our work together would take place and make a contractual agreement. 

My hours are flexible

I work with both trainee and qualified counsellors.

Sessions will be between 60 and 90 minutes depending on your professional body membership and qualified status.

I am a qualified Clinical Supervisor trained in the Seven-Eyed Model which looks closely at the relationships between the practitioner and their client.

I provide a safe space for reflexion and exploration of your client work, offering constructive feedback and guidance to support you and your practice.

During the first session we will agree a preferred way of working together and expectations of supervision. We will also discuss boundaries and contracts
