About me and my therapy practice
If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to turn, you're not alone—and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially if you’ve never worked with a therapist before. I understand that because I’ve been there myself.
I’m a warm, down-to-earth, trauma-informed therapist who offers a safe and compassionate space where you can explore whatever is going on for you—without fear of judgement. Whether you're facing relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or just feeling lost, I’m here to help you make sense of it all.
I have experience working with trauma and how complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder cripple’s people’s lives. Living with complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is very life limiting. It can feel confusing disorienting and scary. We can come out of a triggering moment not knowing why we reacted so strongly to something only to do it again on another occasion. We can feel emotionally dysregulated on any given day and not know why.
Individual Counselling
Life can feel confusing and overwhelming at times. I provide a warm, confidential space where you can talk openly and begin to understand yourself more deeply. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or feeling stuck, I’ll support you to build clarity, confidence, and self-awareness so you can move forward with greater ease.
Couples Counselling
Relationships can bring connection and joy—but when communication breaks down, they can also feel painful and isolating. I work with couples who feel stuck in negative patterns, such as repeated arguments, emotional distance, or loss of intimacy. My role is to help both partners feel heard and supported while learning practical tools to rebuild trust, improve communication, and reconnect in a meaningful way.
Practice description
I will work with you on building relationship resilience; this means finding practical methods of overcoming issues within the relationship by using different resources such as communication exercises and conflict resolution.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for you to get a sense of how I work as a therapist and to answer any questions you may have.
