I am qualified and experienced as a counsellor for children and young people. I qualified in 2001 and have worked in a variety of services including local authorities, primary schools, secondary schools, under-five clinics, camhs.

I offer counselling to children and young people from age 5. I work with younger children under the age of 5 alongside their parent or carer.

Face to face work is in Maidstone only. I offer online work but this is not suitable for young children. 

I offer concessionary rates of £45 to parents on a reduced income.

My framework is psychodynamic or integrative.

I have some availability for individual supervision.

Availability between 17.00-20.00 or within working hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. 

I currently work as a supervisor in a variety of settings and organisations including a team of primary and secondary school counsellors, MHSTs, teaching staff and trauma-informed independent provisions. 

I use the Proctor model of supervision for my coaching supervision work and the Seven Eyed model for counselling supervision work. I have worked in the therapy and counselling industry since I originally qualified as a counsellor in 2001. 

I work online, receive supervision for my supervision and am suitably insured.

I offer a concession rate of £40 for training students and qualified counsellors who are receiving benefit such as Universal Credit and Housing Benefit. 

I originally trained as a psychodynamic counsellor and hold a diploma (CSCT equiv CPCAB) and a post graduate diploma working with children and young people.

I hold post graduate training as a Parent Infant Psychotherapist and as a systemic practitioner. My supervision training is from Terapia and is working within an integrative framework, suitable for both adult and children's counsellors. I also hold training in early years reflective supervision from the Anna Freud Centre.

I have a range of CPD qualifications including TF-CBT and DDP (Dan Hughes) which may be helpful if you are aiming to use attachment theory and trauma awareness to enhance your practice.
