About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed or in the midst of a crisis? You may feel pulled in different directions by parts that seem to want different things? You don't have to face things alone. I offer a gentle, collaborative approach where we can explore what's difficult in your life, make sense of difficult and conflicting emotions and patterns of behaviour.
Training, qualifications & experience
• Post graduate diploma in Counselling from Psychosynthesis Trust
• Level 5 Certificate in Counselling Young People from Place2Be
• Accredited Member of Íø±¬ÃÅ
• Previous experience includes working with Mind, Place2Be, ChildLine and Kooth. I currently work in the charity sector, schools and run a private practice. I continue with personal development as part of my practice.
Practice description
I am a trained psychosynthesis counsellor and bring 20 years of training and life experience to my therapeutic work. I offer a safe, supportive space for you to explore life's challenges and discover a deeper sense of meaning and purpose. I work in a person-centred and creative way - working with what you bring and at a pace that feels right for you. I believe therapy is a joint process - a place to be heard, understood and supported as you make sense of your experiences. I will encourage you to access your own resources and inner wisdom to support you to make changes and move forward in your life.
Alongside talking therapy, I can bring in other practices such as mindfulness, breath work and creative approaches like drawing and working with imagery.
I offer one-to-one short and long-term counselling on a weekly basis. I work online and offer face-to-face sessions in Crouch End, London N8.
My first session
What’s next?
Taking the first step can feel daunting. I offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation where we can talk about what brings you to therapy and how we will work together. You can ask me any questions and talk about any fears or concerns that you might have.
Deciding
Whether it is your first experience of therapy or if it is something you have done before, finding someone you connect with is a key part of the process. If you decide I am not the right person for you, then I will do my best to refer you to another colleague and advise you about alternative support.
If we choose to work together we will arrange a mutually convenient day and time for our weekly sessions. This will be your dedicated weekly slot.
