About me and my therapy practice
I offer video and telephone sessions at most times.
I am an Integrative Counsellor and have trained in a variety of models which I draw upon to create a practice that I believe best fits the clients need. I believe in enabling clients to understand their difficulties and to develop the skills they need to overcome these in a sustainable way.
Therapy gives client the opportunity to think about their difficulties in a non-judgemental environment that is impartial. This way difficulties can be thought about more clearly and without the confines of the emotional burden close and personal relationships can bring to the process.
I am an Accredited and experienced therapist and describe my approach as holistic, down to earth and practical.
I have previously worked for organisations such as the NHS and major charities.
My experience includes, but is not limited to: working with Neurodivergent individuals; trauma therapy - including traumatic relationships; therapy for anxiety and depression - including health anxiety; grief; identity and self esteem.
Practice description
My Integrative training draws on different theoretical approaches. We are all unique, so I work with you as an individual, using my collective knowledge, to tailor an approach that best supports you.
I am fully compliant with professional regulatory requirements and all my work is supervised in accordance with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy.
