Why me?
We only feel able to explore issues that feel difficult, confusing, uncomfortable or shaming when we trust the person sitting alongside us. My aim is for us to create a strong, trusting and safe relationship in which we can work together with a spirit of curiosity about your life and experiences, to get to a place where you feel more at ease with yourself and your life.
The important stuff:
With over 18 years counselling experience, I work with adults and young people aged 13+ years. I am an accredited member of 网爆门 and work to their Code of Ethics. I offer both short term (6 sessions) and longer term therapy.
Online Sessions:
In order to provide a flexible, confidential, time efficient service my sessions are offered online via Zoom. Online therapy works in just the same way as face to face sessions and research has shown that it can be just as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy.
Payment is in advance of the session via bank transfer.
Training, qualifications & experience:
BSc Therapeutic Counselling, DipHE Therapeutic Counselling, Cert Counselling, Cert Counselling Young People, Post Grad Cert Clinical Supervision, Designated Safeguarding Officer, REWIND & Trauma trained.
I have extensive experience of working with adults in a variety of settings including third sector, education, Employee Assistance Programmes and the NHS. My work with young people covers brief and long term therapy for Relate, Young Carers, schools and universities in addition to private practice and substantial online counselling. I also led a national online counselling service for young people and offer clinical supervision for a leading national text based charity.

Effective supervision can only take place within an open, safe & trusted relationship between supervisee & supervisor.
My aim is to co-create this with every supervisee to help you grow & develop as a therapist, within an ethically robust framework. I believe supervision should be a safe space to explore, grow, challenge & play. I have been described by supervisees as warm, passionate, boundaried & able to challenge.
I offer flexible online supervision sessions (via Zoom) for trainees & experienced practitioners.
