About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapy with the necessary skills to help you with any problem, no matter how big or small.
I have substantial experience (twenty years) as a counsellor, having worked in private practice and within the NHS primary care service.
I am also a Couples Counsellor and a Clinical Supervisor.
I trained at the Metanoia Institute, London, where I gained a Diploma in Counselling using Transactional Analysis. I have in depth advanced training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy. My extensive experience in private, NHS and the voluntary sector means that I have worked with a wide spectrum of personal cases and cultures.
Practice description
Central to my philosophy is the importance of the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client. My aim is to help all my clients through a difficult period in their lives or with an ongoing problem.
I am a passionate and committed Counsellor and Couples Counsellor.
I believe in accordance with TA ethos that all people are ok and all people can change. I like to work with people and couples who are ready to make a permanent change and want to look at their unconscious patterns. If that is you, I am happy to work with you on a long or short-term basis depending on your individual need.
