Understanding Your Journey
We all develop ways to cope as children, people-pleasing, avoiding conflict, or turning away from difficult feelings. These habits often protected us then, but as adults, they can leave us feeling stuck. These old patterns might make it hard to connect with others, impact your work, or lead to anxiety, depression, eating challenges, or substance use.
We’ll work together to explore and understand these distressing feelings and patterns, and work through them so you can feel more in control.

How I Can Help:
I’m a Psychodynamic Psychotherapist, which means that together, we’ll go beyond simply managing symptoms. We’ll gently explore the deeper patterns that influence how you think, feel, and connect with others.
In our sessions, we will:
• Explore the patterns and coping strategies that keep you feeling anxious or stuck.
• Work on freeing you from negative cycles so you can feel calmer and more balanced.
• Look at your relationships to understand and shift unhelpful dynamics.
• Build your self-esteem so you feel stronger and more resilient in times of stress.
I’ll draw on my knowledge and experience to guide you through your difficult emotions. We’ll build new coping strategies to deal with difficult situations and emotions.

I offer a free 30 minutes video call, so you can meet me to get a feel of how therapy could work for you, no pressure or commitment required.
Many people choose to see me for counselling here in NW6 in person, because it's a calm, private space within easy reach of Kilburn, West Hampstead, Queen’s Park, and Maida Vale. I also offer online sessions for clients across North West London.
