About me and my therapy practice
With over 20 years of clinical experience, I am a psychotherapist, researcher, and educator committed to supporting individuals, couples, and groups in gaining deeper insight into their emotions, relationships, and life experiences. My work is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a deep understanding of human psychology.
I believe the benefits of psychotherapy extend beyond those experiencing acute psychological distress. Everyone can gain from professional support—developing tools to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and compassion.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space to explore thoughts and emotions, uncover unhelpful patterns, and develop healthier ways of thinking, behaving, and relating. Together, we work to transform limiting beliefs and behaviours, empowering you to create lasting change and move toward a more fulfilling life.
Originally from Glasgow and now based in London, I hold a PhD in Counselling & Psychotherapy, with specialisms in Person-Centred, Emotion-Focused, and Humanistic-Experiential approaches. In addition to my clinical work, I am a Researcher, Educator, Healing Coach, and Master Firewalk Instructor, offering a rich and integrative perspective to my practice.
My research explores the self-relationship, negative self-treatment, and social anxiety—areas that continue to inform my clinical and academic work.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (Íø±¬ÃÅ), I uphold the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
The use of the title Dr in this directory listing relates to the member’s doctorate qualification. However, this does not imply a general medical qualification.
Practice description
My practice is integrative, drawing on a variety of therapeutic traditions—particularly person-centred, emotion-focused, and humanistic-experiential models. I work with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to:
• Trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and emotional difficulties
• Inner conflict, low self-esteem, and negative self-talk
• Bereavement, chronic illness, and self-harm
• Relationship issues, sexuality, and identity
• Addiction, eating disorders, and mental health challenges
• Abuse, anger, financial worries, and major life transitions
My first session
I understand that reaching out for support can feel intimidating. But therapy is often a space for curiosity, personal insight, connection, and even humour. To help make that first step easier, I offer a free 20-minute video consultation where we can get to know each other and explore how I can support you.
Individual therapy sessions start at £150, while couples therapy is from £170. Please visit my website for further details or contact me directly to discuss options.
Sessions are available in person (at Fulham, Imperial Wharf SW6, or Eaton Gate Practice SW1W), online, or through a blended format to suit your needs.
