How does therapy work?
I see psychotherapy as a way to better understand the narratives of our lives and the stories we believe about ourselves. These may have been created as a result of earlier experiences, the society and culture we live in, or any other reason we're yet to discover. Psychotherapy gives you a chance to explore your narrative in a confidential, creative and professional space.
Sometimes it's a case of reclaiming your story, perhaps after a shock event, sometimes it's about redefining your story if life feels like it has drifted off course. Either way, therapy can help you become the author again, able to confront whatever challenges you have with renewed self-belief so that you feel confident about your future.
Ultimately, I believe that as a client, you have all the answers and resources within you – my role is to help you bring them to light.
My belief in the transformational power of psychotherapy is supported by over a decade of experience working in various settings including the NHS, The School of Life, charity settings and the Harley Street area in central London.
In that time, I have helped people move through challenges with anxiety and depression, relational trauma, divorce/separation, abuse, codependency, addiction, low self-esteem, panic attacks, self-harm and eating disorders.
The results can be life-changing.
Special interest
My special interest is in the role of the father and the many ways that shapes us personally. This exploration can have huge transformational power for everyone, whatever your gender.
This can look like us exploring:
- How your relationship with your father has shaped you
- How you may have been impacted by having an absent father (physically or emotionally absent)
- How you identify and manage your triggers
- How you can create healthier relationships
- How you can hone your confidence in different areas of your life
- How you define your identity (including 'Patrescence')

Because I'm an integrative psychotherapist, I work with each person in a completely unique way.
I draw from a spectrum of psychotherapy models to create an approach tailored to you. That includes:

My first session
The first session will be for us to gauge how we fit together. This will be a conversation, I will ask questions but there will be no formal clipboard or assessment in the old-fashioned way. This is about a human meeting another human in a very unique exchange of ideas, feelings and experience.
I believe the secret to good therapy is in the relationship between a client and a therapist – this is where the healing really is.
If it feels like we are a good fit, we will then go on to work together.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer face-to-face psychotherapy in King’s Cross, Central London, specialising in relational and attachment trauma.
My approach is grounded in creating an attuned therapeutic relationship where you can explore and heal deep-seated patterns that impact your relationships and your sense of self.
Drawing from psychodynamic, somatic and relational modalities, I will work collaboratively with you to understand the origins of your pain and develop new ways of relating to yourself and people you care about.
Clients often seek my support when they feel stuck in recurring patterns – such as difficulties with trust, fear of abandonment or emotional withdrawal – that they sense are rooted in early experiences.
Sessions are held in a quiet, welcoming therapy room just a few minutes from King’s Cross station.
My fees reflect the depth of work and level of support I provide.

I offer therapy that is steady, compassionate, and responsive to what unfolds between us — not just what’s being said.
Our sessions won’t be rushed or overly clinical. Instead, they will allow room for reflection, noticing and feeling.
I work well with people who have a strong reflective capacity or are drawn to depth work, even if they feel emotionally stuck or unsure of where to start.
This is not about quick fixes or symptom management — it’s about making lasting, meaningful change from the inside out.

I’ll ask a few questions to understand the broad outlines of your life and experiences, but there’s no expectation to go into painful material straight away.

I’ll support you in tuning into what you need, and we’ll explore whether working together feels like the right fit.
My intention is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood and with a clearer sense of what our work could look like if you choose to continue.
