About me and my therapy practice

Specialist Online Trauma Therapy - UK

Transformational healing from Trauma, Relational Wounds, Narcissistic Abuse and Profound Loss

No Longer a Ghost in Your Own Life庐锔

Even if your life looks 鈥渢ogether,鈥 you may feel disconnected, stuck in old patterns - like self-doubt, people-pleasing or perfectionism - or haunted by past experiences. I help high-functioning individuals release past wounds, and feel fully alive in their everyday life.

鈥淭rauma is 鈥 what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you.鈥

鈥 Gabor Mat茅

I鈥檓 Sharon, and I鈥檝e dedicated over 19 years to supporting people through profound healing.

My background includes Complex trauma training, working with symptoms of PTSD, and a decade as a 网爆门 Accredited Senior Counsellor in the NHS, specialising in Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD).

Today, I work exclusively in private practice, offering specialist trauma therapy for deep and lasting change.

I work with people who have experienced relational wounds, narcissistic abuse, or profound loss, helping you reconnect with who you truly are, and find emotional clarity, presence, and a more joyful, meaningful life.

Practice description

馃尶&苍产蝉辫;"I can honestly say that the Brainspotting has truly removed the blocks which I believe had been created by challenging life events. These blocks led to OCD, anxiety and panic attacks/avoidance which have plagued my life for the last 30 years. I have tried CBT, Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, Compassionate Mind Training and have a whole library of books on the subject but nothing has really worked long term until I discovered Brainspotting."

~ Client experience

My trauma-informed approach draws on Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Practices, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with Brainspotting at the very heart of my work.

Evolved out of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) I offer Brainspotting because I鈥檝e both witnessed, and experienced, how powerfully it can help people safely and intuitively process unresolved experiences held in the nervous system - without having to re-live trauma.

  • My sessions are not about squeezing trauma work into a standard therapy hour, so I offer extended, spacious options.

You can choose from:

  • 90-minute deep healing sessions - extended sessions to give you the appropriate space to drop in fully and explore without feeling rushed, allowing for deeper processing and meaningful shifts than shorter sessions.

  • 1-3 Day Brainspotting Intensives (3 hour sessions) - uninterrupted space for profound, extended processing - offering the opportunity for breakthroughs that might otherwise take weeks of standard sessions.

Whether you choose a focused Brainspotting Intensive or the steady rhythm of ongoing sessions, together, we work to release old patterns, process grief or trauma, and help you feel more in control and alive in your daily life.

This is where your story changes, and it would be a privilege to be a part of that with you.

My first session

Free Clarity Call (20-minutes)

  • This is a free-of-charge phone call that lasts approx 20 minutes. This is for us to talk about what you are experiencing, what you need and if sessions with me may be helpful for you. This call is purely informative, and not a therapeutic service.

  • I will always endeavour to provide referral options for you if we decide that I am not the right fit for your needs.

Assessment/Intake Session (90-minutes)

  • Your first full session is a 90-minute comprehensive assessment and intake, where we look at your experiences, hopes and goals in more depth.

  • Priced slightly lower than my standard 90-minute sessions, it focuses on assessment, planning, and understanding your needs, before you begin full therapy.

  • You get to share with me whatever feels comfortable, there is absolutely no pressure to talk about anything until you feel ready.

  • Assessment questionnaires and guidance on next steps are completed together, helping you feel supported and confident about moving forward in the way that works best for you.
