About me and my therapy practice
You don鈥檛 need to arrive at counselling knowing exactly what you want to say. In fact, many people come to therapy feeling disconnected from themselves, unsure where to begin. That鈥檚 okay.
My role is to hold space for you to slow down, breathe, and begin to notice what鈥檚 going on inside. I work with gentle curiosity and care, helping you build trust with yourself as well as with me.
I work integratively, with a strong emphasis on Internal Family Systems (IFS). This means we鈥檒l explore the different 鈥減arts鈥 of you that may carry pain, shame, anxiety, or overwhelm鈥攁longside the parts that try to protect you from feeling any of that. These inner dynamics often make perfect sense when we take time to listen.
As your awareness grows, so does your capacity for self-compassion, clarity, and healing. This isn鈥檛 about fixing you鈥攊t鈥檚 about helping you reconnect with self, the wise and steady core of you that can lead your internal system with compassion.
You set the pace, and our work is shaped by what feels most important and helpful to you. I aim to offer a calm, grounded presence as we explore whatever emerges. We may draw on imagery, metaphor, body awareness, or just simple, honest conversation.
Above all, I believe that change happens when we feel safe enough to be fully ourselves. My intention is to meet you in that space鈥攚ith respect, warmth, and hope.
Practice description
Life can feel overwhelming at times鈥攁nd when it does, we can lose touch with who we are. You may feel anxious, down, angry, lost or simply numb. Perhaps you鈥檙e carrying things you鈥檝e never said out loud, or you鈥檝e reached a point where your usual ways of coping no longer work.
Therapy gives you space to pause and pay attention to your own experience. In the midst of everything you carry, I offer a warm, grounded space where you can be fully yourself鈥攏o judgement, no pressure to perform, no expectation to 鈥榟ave it all together鈥.
Clients often tell me that our work helps them feel more centred, more whole, and more connected to their true self. That change doesn鈥檛 happen overnight, but over time it creates space for healing, growth, and deeper freedom.
I work with adults facing a wide range of issues including anxiety, burnout, low self-worth, relational struggles, grief, spiritual disorientation, and recovery from difficult past experiences. I am particularly experienced in supporting those who are used to being the ones others rely on, but may struggle to find support for themselves.
Counselling sessions are offered online or in person. I welcome people from all walks of life and offer a sensitive, inclusive approach for all. You're welcome exactly as you are.
My first session
I always offer an initial free half hour introductory video call which allows us to meet, discuss your needs and work out if we are a good fit for each other or not. If I'm not the right person to work with you then I will always try to signpost you to someone who might be a better fit.

About me and my therapy practice
I work with a cyclical model of supervision which creates plenty of space for you to explore what really matters to you about your practice. I'm always particularly interested in what's underneath the choices you're making in the therapy room so that we can, together, explore possibilities and discover any blindspots.
With a decade of experience in providing supervision for counsellors at all stages of their careers, mid 2025, I've opened up some additional space for new supervisees.
Practice description
In clinical practice I work with an integrative model but lean heavily into Internal Family Systems theory and trauma informed practice. I work with clients to help them to stabilise their nervous system so that we can process what's important to them from a safe, resourced place.
