About me and my therapy practice
I provide a safe and confidential space in which you and I can explore and address your difficulties, so you may find a more fulfilling way of being in the world. I work in a collaborative and creative way, drawing on the skills and range of therapeutic interventions I have learnt over the course of my career to support this work. I have an understanding of the challenges individuals can experience and I am both welcoming of difference and open to exploration where you, the client wish.
Central to my work is understanding and working from your unique perspective and values in order to support you to find a way forward that fits for your unique situation. As well as counselling for all issues, I have a particular specialism in working with trauma from sexual violence, both recent and long ago.
It takes courage to take that first step into counselling, whether for the very first time or returning at a later stage. Let's take the time together to create a safe, strong, therapeutic relationship where you can let go of what you no longer wish to carry and learn new strengths to carry you into the next phase of your life.

Practice description
I bring extensive experience working alongside marginalised communities, and this continues to shape my inclusive and evolving approach.
Clients often describe me as engaged, non-judgemental, and easy to talk to - something I deeply value in building a safe and supportive space.
My background includes (but isn't limited to) working with individuals of all genders and ages who have experienced abuse, neglect, and sexual harm.
I work in a Person-Centred way, which to me, sites you as the expert in your own experience, as together we embark on the journey for you to find your meaningful path.
