About me and my therapy practice
I’m a counsellor with over a decade of experience supporting children, young people, families, and adults across a wide range of settings; including schools, PRUs, residential homes, and mental health services. I specialise in working with young people and families, often navigating complex emotional landscapes like trauma, anxiety, identity struggles, loss, and big life transitions. I also work with adults who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected, and are ready to reconnect with themselves in a meaningful way.
My practice is rooted in relational, trauma-informed principles, underpinned by neuroscience and a belief in the power of safe, attuned connection. I aim to offer a space where you or your child can show up without pressure or judgement and explore what’s going on beneath the surface.
Alongside my therapeutic training, I’ve led teams in safeguarding and wellbeing roles, and have experience working within the LGBTQIA+ community, delivered creative mental health programmes in schools and communities, and co-authored resources focused on trauma-informed practice. This breadth of experience allows me to tailor my approach to meet you where you are, whether you're seeking short-term support or longer-term exploration.
Whether you're a young person trying to make sense of the world, a parent navigating family challenges, or an adult looking to reconnect with your sense of self, I welcome you to get in touch.
Practice description
The Regulate Collective is a space for people who want to understand themselves better, process life experiences, and feel more grounded in who they are. I work 1:1 with young people, adults and parents, supporting emotional wellbeing through a trauma-informed, neuro-aware lens.
You might come to therapy feeling stuck, anxious, burnt out, or unsure where to begin, that’s okay. Our sessions are collaborative and tailored to what works for you. We might use creative tools, coaching techniques, or simply talk things through, depending on your needs.
With a background in both counselling and wellbeing programme design, I bring a holistic view to mental health, recognising the impact of stress, environment, relationships and identity on how we cope. My role is to offer a steady, respectful space for you to explore whatever’s coming up.
Sessions are currently available in person in Sussex or online across the UK.
My first session
I offer a free 30-minute initial session to give us a chance to connect and for you to get a feel for how I work. There’s no pressure, it’s simply a space for us to meet, for you to ask any questions you might have, and for us to explore whether I’m the right person to support you on your therapy journey.
In this session, I’ll share a bit about how therapy with me looks, and we’ll talk about what brings you to counselling. If it feels like a good fit, we can then arrange our first full session. This is your space, and the beginning of therapy should feel like a choice you’re confident in.
