I am currently taking on new clients - couples or individuals. I work Mon - Fri 9:30am-7pm and Sunday afternoons 2pm-5pm. I work exclusively ONLINE (for couples/individuals) or by PHONE (individuals).
About me and my therapy practice
I offer online and telephone counselling, creating a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly without fear of the judgement. My approach is collaborative, I believe you are the expert in your own life, and together we can explore what's troubling you, identify patterns, and find ways forward that feel right for you.
I work with individuals and couples on issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, menopause, bereavement (including pet loss) and work related challenges. For couples, I focus on strengthening communication, rebuilding trust, and helping you reconnect with each other. For individuals, I provide tools and insight to help you manage emotions, understand yourself more deeply, and build resilience.
I use an integrative approach, drawing from different counselling models to tailor sessions to your needs. This may involve exploring your thoughts and feelings, developing coping strategies, and gently challenging unhelpful patterns. My aim is to always help you gain clarity, feel more in control, and move towards positive change at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Counselling can feel daunting to begin with, but it's a powerful step in taking care of your emotional well being. Many clients find that having a neutral space to talk things through allows them to see situations differently and discover new ways of coping.
If you are ready to make changes, or even if you are unsure about whether counselling could help, I invite you to get in touch. I am offering a FREE 15 minute consultation to answer any questions you have, or see if I am the right fit for you.
Practice description
I provide a safe, confidential, and supportive space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind. My role is not to judge or tell you what to do, but to listen with empathy, help you explore your experiences, and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.
Each person's situation is unique, so I tailor my approach to your needs, drawing on different therapeutic methods to help you feel understood and supported.
With couples I focus on building clearer communication, improving connection, and managing conflict in healthier ways. For individuals, counselling may involve understanding patterns of thought and behaviour, processing difficult feelings, or developing tools to cope with life's challenges.
All sessions are held online or by telephone, this gives you the flexibility to access support from wherever you feel most comfortable. Some people choose short term counselling to work on a specific issue, while others prefer longer term support. You decide what feels right, and we can review this together as we go along.
You can expect me to be compassionate, reliable, and respectful at all times. My aim is to provide a calm space where you feel safe enough to talk about what matters most to you. Together we can work towards greater clarity, resilience and emotional well being.
If you are considering counselling, please feel free to get in touch. I will be happy to answer any questions and help you decide whether working with me is the right step for you,
My first session
When you first reach out, we can arrange a 15 minute FREE consultation. If you decide to go ahead, I will send you an assessment form. This helps me understand your situation, your goals for counselling, and any important background information. It also gives you a chance to reflect on what you would like to gain from the process.
In our first session together we will discuss how counselling works. I will explain my contract, which outlines confidentiality, session length, fees, cancellations and other practicalities. This ensures we both have clear expectations and that you feel comfortable with the way we will work. There will also be plenty of time for you to ask questions.
The first session is about getting to know you. You'll be able to share what brings you to counselling at your own pace, and I'll listen carefully with warmth and without judgement. From there we can agree on the focus of our work together and where you would like to start.
My role as your counsellor is to provide a safe, supportive and professional space where you can talk openly and feel heard.
If you would like to get to know more, please get in touch.
