About me and my therapy practice
I'm an approachable, experienced Accredited Counsellor, who supports adult individuals through change, low self-esteem and identity issues, helping them rebuild their confidence and find direction.
You might feel stuck in the same painful relationship patterns, knowing something needs to change but not sure what. You may push yourself too hard, with an inner critic that won鈥檛 switch off, leaving you anxious, drained, or doubting yourself 鈥 even when others are reassuring and encouraging.
I work with people who feel overwhelmed by a busy mind and may also be carrying the weight of past trauma, neglect, or difficult experiences. You might struggle with overthinking, and feelings of being misunderstood or not fitting in. Many people cope by appearing to be holding it together on the outside, while experiencing feelings of burnout, depression, or self-doubt on the inside.
Together, we can address the root causes of your difficulties. I'll help you untangle thoughts, address old wounds, and develop healthier ways to think and cope. We鈥檒l look at how your past shapes the present, so you can make choices that feel more aligned with who you really are 鈥 not who you think you 鈥渟hould鈥 be.
I support adults at all life stages through change and uncertainty 鈥 whether that鈥檚 finding direction as a young adult, managing career and identity pressures, and finding deeper connections. Older adults are more likely to be coping with bereavement, divorce, redundancy, or perhaps becoming a carer.
My aim is to help you feel clearer, calmer, and more in control of your life.My own experience of therapy was transformative, and now I help others explore what鈥檚 holding them back. I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities and life experiences.
Practice description
I offer sessions online, and work with people from all over the UK. Sessions are usually weekly, and last 50 minutes.
I use the counselling relationship as a space for growth, insight, and change. It matters to me that you feel safe and comfortable enough to speak openly the issues that are bringing you to counselling. We鈥檒l work at your pace, regularly checking in to ensure the process feels right and is meeting your goals.
With 12 years鈥 experience in London and Kent, I stay up to date with the latest developments in my field. I often work with people exploring or questioning a neurodivergent identity, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis, offering a space for understanding and self-acceptance.
I'm an accredited member of 网爆门 鈥 recognition of my experience, commitment, and accountability, and reassurance that you are in safe, qualified hands.
My practice is welcoming, inclusive, and open to all.
My first session
Starting counselling can feel daunting, especially if it鈥檚 your first time. I offer a free introductory 20-minute phone call 鈥 a chance to get a feel for how we might work together and to ask any questions you have about the process.
Our first session is about seeing if we鈥檙e a good fit. I鈥檒l explain what to expect from counselling and how I can support you, while you share as much or as little as feels right. This helps me understand how I can best help.
At the end, I鈥檒l give you information about my practice so that if you need to, you can take time to decide whether to book further sessions. Please take that first step and get in touch to arrange a free call.
