About me and my therapy practice
I believe everyone has the basic right to enjoy life to the full. We all experience set-backs but our thoughts, feelings and behaviour determine how we cope and what level of fulfilment we experience from life. Through my counselling, psychotherapy, supervision and mediation work in Cornwall over the last 25 years, I have been committed to helping my clients significantly improve their quality of life.
I help my clients to learn new skills, awarenesses, beliefs and strategies that not only get them through their current difficulty but also equip them to deal with issues in ‘future days.’ For me this is what counselling is really about. Put simply, I believe a professional should show someone how to use a tool for themselves rather than do the work for them.
I am a relaxed and friendly character, although I can be enthusiastic and assertive when circumstance requires. You may wish to take advantage of a FREE initial telephone consultation, which will give you the chance to discuss your needs; completely free of obligation.
It takes a lot of courage to ask for help, therefore the decision to seek counselling or psychotherapy can be a difficult one, so I treat all my clients with respect and kindness.

About me and my therapy practice
My most treasured human value is humility. By accepting ourselves and others we can create a space devoid of shame from which we can grow unencumbered by ego. Integrity and equality further a working relationship that can thrive on trust and honesty. A clinical supervisor should above all, be be an ally.
