About me and my therapy practice
I have been working as a child and adolescent psychotherapist since 2009 in schools, charities and privately. I have experience in running groups, managing trainees and working one -to- one therapeutically with children, young people and adults. My work is very diverse, as are my clients. I am passionate about working to help children, young people, adults and families to feel better about themselves and themselves in relation to other and the outside world. This is done in the context of an empathic therapeutic relationship in a safe, caring and confidential space. Part of the work can be using image, metaphor, play, the arts and the body. This helps to gain self-awareness and healing with children and young people with various issues.
I believe that each person has a unique way of seeing things and try to work from their perspective. As an integrative psychotherapist, I can work using different approaches to meet the needs of the young person or adult in the therapy. This means that I can contain and apply ways of working through issues, which will enable the child to integrate and help to live life to their fullest potential. The arts can be a useful tool and way of doing this, as they can help to externalise issues and then look at them in a subjective way.
I have experience working with complex trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, anger issues, obsessive compulsive behaviour, low self-esteem, loss and bereavement, self-harm, problems in intimacy, Autism, Asperger’s and ADHD.
I have experience in supporting staff in schools, running groups, to help enable staff to process difficulties they face in relation to child protection issues and in looking at different approaches to ways of working in the classroom.
I am a clinical Supervisor, supervising therapists working with children, adolescents and adults.
I am UKCP registered and a member of Íø±¬ÃÅ.
I am a DDP Informed practitioner.

I have a diploma in clinical supervision for children, young people and adults. (2019) I have experience of supervising groups in training organsiations, trainee and qualified psychotherapists and counsellors. I supervise groups and on a one-to one basis. I have also run supervision groups for staff in schools, settings , to support their thinking around CP issues and how to give a space to think, digest and process challenging issues that arise.
My approach is integrative and I draw upon various theories, clinical ways of working in order to support each supervisee with their needs; in service of their work and clients.
I am able to meet face to face or online.
About me and my therapy practice
As an Integrative Clinical Supervisor, I draw upon a broad range of therapeutic models and supervisory approaches to provide a responsive, developmentally attuned supervision experience. My supervisory style is rooted in collaboration, reflection, and mutual growth, integrating frameworks such as psychodynamic, creative, humanistic, systemic, and trauma-informed perspectives.
I tailor supervision to meet the unique learning needs, professional identities, and clinical orientations of each supervisee, fostering both clinical competence and personal development. I emphasize the importance of the supervisory alliance, creating a space where curiosity, cultural humility, ethical sensitivity, and clinical insight can flourish.
Through the integrative lens, I encourage supervisees to deepen their self-awareness, refine their use of self in practice, and integrate theory with real-world client experience. I support the development of reflective practitioners who are not only skilled in multiple modalities but also confident in choosing interventions that are contextually and relationally appropriate.
My approach incorporates developmental supervision models (such as Stoltenberg’s model), the seven-eyed model of supervision, and attention to parallel process, transference/countertransference dynamics, and the evolving identity of the clinician. I also remain attuned to issues of power, privilege, and cultural responsiveness within the supervisory relationship and the wider clinical context.
Ultimately, my role as an integrative supervisor is to cultivate a secure, challenging, and enriching space where supervisees can grow into ethically grounded, attuned, and effective practitioners.
