About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor and Supervisor, offering support across a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Counselling provides a space to pause, reflect, and focus on yourself—away from the demands of daily life.
I currently run a College Counselling service, giving me insight into the unique challenges faced by young people.
I work with individuals navigating confusion, identity, and the transition into adulthood, which can often feel overwhelming. Feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and being misunderstood are common—and I offer a safe space to explore these.
As a trained Addictions Counsellor with experience delivering drug and alcohol education, I support both harm reduction and abstinence goals. My work spans both adults and young people.
Beyond addiction and youth support, I work with individuals facing life’s challenges—past and present.
My time volunteering at a hospice deepened my understanding of grief and its unique impact. I approach bereavement with sensitivity, allowing each person to move at their own pace.
Practice description
Using a range of theoretical approaches, I help you explore both your past and present. Self-awareness is key to change, but I also understand that not everyone seeks deep exploration—some simply want to be heard. I offer impartial, non-judgemental support tailored to your needs.
Over the years, I’ve learned that one size does not fit all. I adapt my approach to suit each individual.
As a qualified Supervisor, I also offer online and telephone supervision for counsellors and trainees.
I’m continually inspired by the hidden strengths people uncover during therapy. Helping someone realise they have choices and a voice is deeply empowering. I feel privileged to be part of that journey.
My aim is to help you find or reclaim inner peace, discover your true identity, and achieve personal goals.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and help you feel at ease. I’ll share a brief overview of my professional background, and together we can decide on the next steps.
