About me and my therapy practice

Welcome — I'm Perry (she/her).

I’m an Integrative Counsellor, Couples Therapist and Systemic Practitioner, with over a decade of experience supporting people through life’s challenges. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful and grounded in respect for your unique experience.

My Background, Qualifications & Experience

I began practicing in 2014 and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Integrative Relational Counselling. My work initially focused on individual adults, and over time, my practice has grown to include couples and families.

In 2022, I began working with couples, supported by a Post-Qualifying Certificate in Relational Couples Therapy.

In 2023, I extended my work to include families, earning a Postgraduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma in Systemic Practice (Couples & Families).

I’m currently a third-year student with the Institute of Family Therapy, working toward a Master’s-level qualification in Family & Systemic Psychotherapy.

I also bring experience from working in a variety of settings, including NHS primary care, end of life services, therapeutic residential care, sixth form colleges, Relate and community counselling services.

Practice description

Who I Work With

While I support a wide range of emotional and relational difficulties, I have particular interest and experience in the following areas:

  • Domestic Abuse & Coercive Control
  • Neurodiversity
  • Blended & Step-Families
  • Separation, Divorce & Co-parenting
  • Life Cycle Stages & Transitions
  • Cross-Cultural Relationships & Identity
  • Experiences of Oppression and Marginalisation

My Values

I am committed to anti-oppressive practice and welcome clients from all backgrounds, including those from marginalised or minoritised communities. I strive to offer a therapeutic space that is inclusive, affirming, and grounded in respect.

Availability

I currently offer online sessions for private clients. If you would prefer to meet in person, I also offer face-to-face sessions in Horsham and Crawley through a local community counselling setting.

If in-person sessions are of interest, please get in touch for more details.

Accessibility & Fees

I offer the full hour per session rather than the 50 minute "therapy hour". My standard fees per session are £60 for individuals, £70 for couples/two family members and £75 for three + family members.

I recognise that there is a significant gap in support for people on lower incomes who may not qualify for free services, yet find private therapy unaffordable. To help bridge this gap, I keep a small number of reduced-fee spaces available for clients who may need them.

If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out — I will do my best to accommodate where possible.

Finding the Right Support

It's important to me that clients receive the kind of support that best meets their needs. While many counsellors — including those early in their careers — may offer help across a broad range of issues, some concerns require specific training and experience.

If you're looking for support in an area outside my expertise, I will always be honest about that — and where possible, I’m happy to refer you to a trusted colleague or appropriate service.
