About me and my therapy practice
I work with individuals navigating emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and depression, whether rooted in past experiences or current life stressors. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where we can explore what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface and begin to make sense of it together.
I offer a compassionate, integrative approach to therapy drawing from a range of evidence-based models to meet each person where they are. My practice is shaped by Psychodynamic Therapy and CBT, alongside further training in DBT, Schema Therapy, and EMDR. I鈥檓 committed to ongoing learning so I can provide thoughtful, effective support tailored to your unique needs.
Therapy isn鈥檛 about quick fixes or erasing the past. It鈥檚 about building insight, resilience, and new ways of responding to life鈥檚 challenges. We鈥檒l work collaboratively to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with your values.
I don鈥檛 believe in giving advice or trying to 鈥渇ix鈥 anyone. Instead, I offer a space where you can show up as you are, feel heard and validated, and begin to reconnect with your strengths. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can grow into the version of yourself that feels most authentic and fulfilled.
Sessions are available either in person or remotely via Microsoft Teams, depending on what feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
Practice description
Before we begin, I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can get a sense of whether working together feels like the right fit for you. It鈥檚 a chance to ask questions, share what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, and explore how I might support you.
If we decide to move forward, I鈥檒l provide a therapy agreement that outlines the practical details of our work together. This will need to be reviewed and signed before sessions begin, so everything feels clear and transparent from the start.
I welcome both self-funding clients and those using private medical insurance.
If you're self-funding, payment can be made either in advance or at the end of each session via bank transfer, whichever feels easiest.
If you're using insurance, please send over your authorisation code ahead of time so I can arrange the necessary invoicing.
My first session
In our first session (the assessment session), we鈥檒l take time to talk about your history and the challenges you're currently facing. Together, we鈥檒l begin to develop a plan that feels supportive and helps you feel more emotionally safe and grounded.
The assessment session is the same cost as a regular therapy session.
