About me and my therapy practice
I provide online Person-Centred Counselling and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) therapy, bringing over 14 years of experience to my practice.
My approach offers a safe, supportive, and empowering space for individuals navigating emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic or sexual abuse, and relationship issues.
While my core training is rooted in the Person-Centred approach, I also have extensive experience and training in other modalities such as Solution-Focused Therapy, EMDR, and CBT.
Through compassionate support and collaborative exploration of difficulties, I aim to help clients build emotional stability, resilience, and self-esteem, while moving towards their preferred futures.
I am an accredited member of the Íø±¬ÃÅ, committed to delivering a professional, high-quality service that aligns with current legislation, ethical standards, and best practice guidelines.
In addition to my therapeutic work, I am also a clinical supervisor, providing supervision for both practitioners and students managing clinical caseloads.
Practice description
My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Person-Centred Counselling with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) where appropriate.
I have experience working with a broad range of presenting issues, and I have a particular interest in supporting individuals affected by trauma and its impact on daily life.
Trauma can result from highly stressful, frightening, or distressing experiences that feel overwhelming or beyond our control. This may stem from a single incident or develop over time through ongoing events. Most people will encounter something in their lives that could be considered traumatic.
My aim is to support you in processing these difficult experiences, helping you to reduce their emotional impact and regain a sense of stability and well-being.
My first session
I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can be challenging. I'm happy to connect with you by phone, Zoom, or email to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you may have before our first session.
Our initial session is an opportunity to begin building trust and setting clear expectations. You may choose to share what's been weighing on you, explore your current thoughts and feelings, or reflect on what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life. Together, we’ll begin to shape a path forward that feels right for you.

A great deal of my work includes working with Trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence.
I provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space for clients who are struggling emotionally and experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, domestic and/or sexual abuse, trauma, and relationship struggles.
My core training is as a Person-Centred Counsellor with extensive knowledge and training in other theoretical approaches including Solutions, EMDR and CBT.
By offering support to explore the issues and looking to preferred futures it is hoped that this will lead to improved emotional stability and increase resilience and self-esteem.

Practice description
I offer Supervision for both qualified and trainee Counsellors & Psychotherapists. I supervise therapists working with individuals, couples, and groups, along with student counsellors whilst on their counselling placements.
I have extensive experience providing individual and group supervision in a therapeutic project where we receive referrals from GPS, CAMHS and children's services therefore safeguarding is monitored and addressed throughout.
The continued emotional support for Counsellors is of most importance to ensure that counsellors stay within professional and ethical limits, protecting both the client and the counsellor. Through regular supervision, counsellors can deepen their theoretical understanding and improve their practical skills along with accessing support for their own wellbeing.
Supervision is not only for exploring client work but also support for the practitioners wellbeing, your clients/supervisee's presentations and your professional/ethical development.
