I offer sessions at various times of the day including first thing in the morning and in the evenings.
About me and my therapy practice
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, and I believe it鈥檚 all about finding the right time and the right therapist for you. Just as we don鈥檛 form close friendships with everyone we meet, it鈥檚 important to find someone you feel comfortable working with. I welcome enquiries from anyone interested in therapy and am happy to discuss how I work so you can take your time deciding if it feels like the right fit.
I offer sessions online, working with adults, couples, and young people (please note: I do not work with those under 18). Our work together might be short term (around six sessions) or longer term, depending on your goals and needs.
Although my core training is integrative, I increasingly draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy鈥攁 model I value for the awareness, self-understanding, and healing it can bring. This approach can feel a little different from traditional talking therapy, as it allows for more creative exploration if that feels right for you鈥攚hether that鈥檚 using sand trays, imagery, drawing, modelling, or music you connect with.
My philosophy
I provide a space where you can come as you are, recognising that how you show up may vary from day to day. During challenging times, it can be difficult to gain perspective or create the space needed to explore our options. Or it may be that you have a clear goal but feel uncertain about how to reach it.
My approach is to help you create a little room to see your next steps or to explore what might be holding you back. While we are the experts on our own lives, there are moments when we aren鈥檛 meant to navigate things alone and a little support can make all the difference.
Practice description
What I can help with
You might be seeking support for something specific 鈥 such as burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or a bereavement 鈥 or perhaps you鈥檙e not quite sure where to begin and simply need a space to talk things through and find your way forward. There鈥檚 no single 鈥渞ight鈥 reason or moment to begin therapy; whatever has brought you here is valid and worth exploring.
Individual Therapy
I support individuals who want to reflect on where they are, what they鈥檇 like to change, and how to enhance their well-being. You might be struggling with boundaries, burnout, or balancing the needs of others with your own. Together, we can explore past experiences that may be keeping you stuck and identify ways to move forward that align with your values and needs.
Couples Therapy
In my work with couples, the focus is often on navigating significant life transitions. For some, this means preparing to take the next step in their relationship鈥攕uch as moving in together or getting married. For others, it鈥檚 about approaching family life with greater intention, creating healthier patterns for themselves and their children than those they may have experienced growing up. I also support couples who are exploring whether continuing their relationship is right for them and what the next chapter of their lives might look like, together or apart.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy
I am a Level 2 IFS Therapist and feel really passionately about how understanding ourselves and others in this way can help us find some calm and peace. Often we come to therapy when things feel like they're not working and IFS can open up new ways to make sense of our experience. (My website offers further details)
Fees: 拢75 p/hr - Adults
拢95 p/hr - Couples
My first session
When you first get in touch, we鈥檒l arrange a brief phone or online call, usually lasting 15鈥20 minutes. This gives you the chance to ask any questions and decide whether you鈥檇 like to book an initial session.
If you choose to proceed, our first session will focus on understanding what has brought you to therapy, whether you have a specific goal or focus (and it鈥檚 perfectly okay if you don鈥檛), and what approach would feel right for you moving forward. From there, we can agree on a set number of sessions, or take a more flexible approach with regular check-ins to ensure you鈥檙e getting what you need.
What I can help with
Abuse, ADD / ADHD, Anger management, Anxiety, Autism spectrum, Bereavement, Child related issues, Depression, Identity issues, Infertility, LGBTQ+ counselling, Loss, Neurodiversity, Post-traumatic stress, Pregnancy related issues, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Sex-related issues, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Spirituality, Stress, Trauma, Women's issues, Work related issues
