As an autistic woman, I understand what it is to be different. Living as an outlier in a neurotypical world can mean that stress, anxiety and depression are constant companions. If left unchecked, they can manifest into an inability to cope with day 鈥�

鈥淢ost men lead lives of quiet desperation and die with their song still inside them鈥� Perhaps Thoreau's quote isn't 100% accurate but does capture something which is backed by research. Namely, whilst men don鈥檛 suffer more psychological disorders tha鈥�
