Hi, my name is Emma and I am a counsellor based in Reading. I work with clients who suffer from all kinds of issues such as: anxiety, depression, loneliness, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, work-related stress, family issues, health i鈥�

In a non-judgemental space, we can look at the roots of your current difficulties and recognise what defences, behaviours and coping mechanisms may no longer be serving you. This is something that can often affect your relationships that you might wi鈥�

I fit the therapy to meet individual client needs. I work collaboratively with my client's to set achievable goals. I like to work with clients that are motivated to make changes, and I support them to do so. 

I am an integrative counsellor, which means I will work using a variety of approaches. I will seek to assist by working with you to explore, understand and face your challenges and life blocks and this can involve looking at both your present and you鈥�

I am a Person-Centred Therapist offering counselling, CBT, EMDR and solution focused therapy for young people, adults and older adults. I have also worked in agencies that specialise in sexual abuse and trauma. The search for a therapist is a hugely 鈥�

I am an experienced therapist who helps you with better understanding of your feelings and empowers you to change the uncomfortable ones. Your courage and commitment to get help and heal your wounds is acknowledged here. I start a journey with you he鈥�

I tailor therapy to suit each individual client, according to their needs. Very often the core reason in seeking counselling becomes secondary as related issues push to the fore. Working in an integrative way enables the focus on initial issues to sh鈥�
