What if you told yourself a different story? I'm here first and foremost to listen to what story you have told yourself ...then can we start to work together to unravel what is causing you distress. Memories are often unreliable narrators but they ca鈥�

I like to start with some idea of what you hope to gain from counselling sessions.  This may vary from a vague 鈥淚 just want to feel happier鈥� to a more specific aim or intention.  I believe the best place to start is with what is happening for you rig鈥�

I am a warm, open and empathic Qualified Person-Centred Counsellor / Psychotherapist who offers you with a safe and honest space. In my own experience, feeling heard and seen -perhaps for the very first time in your life- has a powerful effect. I str鈥�

I am an integrative counsellor, which means that I use a range of approaches, depending on what might work for you. This could include exploring the immediate pressures you face, looking at how previous experiences are affecting you now, or focusing 鈥�

Why counselling? I offer psychoanalytic psychotherapy for individuals. My approach is respectful of individual difference and is aimed at reaching the underlying causes of suffering. In examining what is unique to our history and our challenges, ther鈥�
