Exploring Relations between Climate Emotions, Mental Health/Wellbeing and Climate Action
WHAT AM I RESEARCHING?
This study explores the perspectives of professionals regarding the relations between climate emotions, mental health/wellbeing and forms of climate/environment action. A deeper understanding of the complex interactions could inform policy and practice and contribute to the Global Research and Action Agenda for Climate Change and Mental Health.

WHO AM I RECRUITING TO PARTICIPATE?
I am seeking to recruit participants who have experience designing or delivering group-based approaches for supporting people with their climate (or eco-) emotions. These approaches might include, but are not limited to: climate cafes, active hope, The Work That Reconnects, eco- or creative-arts based interventions. Delivery may be part of your professional role, or as a volunteer.
WHAT IS THE ASK?
• Participating in a 1:1 in person, nature-based interview (approx. 1 hour)
• Questions will be shared beforehand.
• Participants will receive a participant information sheet and be asked to sign a consent form prior to the interview.
ARE YOU ELIGIBLE TO TAKE PART?
Participants must:
• Be over 18, and based in the UK
• Have experience of designing or delivering group-based approaches to working with climate or eco emotions.
• Be interested in sharing their perspectives, and own understandings on the relations between climate emotions, mental health/wellbeing and forms of climate/ environment action.
