Dr Paula Hall explores working with clients suffering from Compulsive Sexual Behaviour Disorder (CSBD), more commonly known as Sex or Porn Addiction, from a biopsychosocial perspective. She gives an overview of the history, current research, conceptual models, risk factors and treatment models for this unique and often misunderstood disorder.

David Futter from Mankind UK explores working with clients who are afraid of repeating the sexual abuse that they suffered as children. He provides best practice around assessing risk and working with clients affected by their own trauma. He dispels the myths around the cycle of childhood sexual abuse and asks you to reflect on how stereotypes about male victims becoming perpetrators affects survivors.

My life as a case study: how mental health and autism shaped my personal life, research and work

Dr Beth Edwards explores being an in-patient at a mental health setting, moving to university, conducting research and finally her experiences in the workplace.
Beth introduces the co-produced 'one-page profile' and encourages you to utilise it either for self-reflection or with clients.

A neurodivergent perspective of supervision: how do we increase access to supervision

Louise Brown explores how to make supervision and counselling more accessible to neurodivergent clients and therapists. She discusses privilege and systemic oppression, models of disability, neurodivergence and how to create safe spaces with affirming practices. She explains the dangers of internalised beliefs that don't align with your values and compares and contrasts the medical and social models of disability.

Working with spirituality within the workplace

Sukhi Sian explores spirituality within the workplace and asks you to reflect on personal barriers around working with spirituality. She invites you to investigate your personal and professional challenges around bringing spirituality into the room and work environment.
