We're looking to recruit four Contract Accreditation Assessors. The roles are an integral part of the accreditation team and involve the assessment of accreditation applications from individual members as well as courses and services seeking Íø±¬ÃÅ accreditation.
Íø±¬ÃÅ accreditation is a well-recognised and valued quality status for practitioners, counselling services and counselling training courses. Íø±¬ÃÅ accreditation schemes aim to recognise the achievement of high standards of knowledge, experience and development in counselling and psychotherapy.
The scheme helps clients, employers, practitioners, and students to make an informed decision when choosing a therapist, service or training course. Íø±¬ÃÅ individual accreditation is designed to recognise practitioners’ capacity for independent, ethical and competent practice. Accreditation is awarded through an in-depth application and assessment process.
Íø±¬ÃÅ is currently in the process of transitioning accreditation to align with the SCoPEd framework. Part of this process involves developing new accreditation schemes for individual members as well as accredited courses and services.
