- offering opportunities to influence national strategy in Íø±¬ÃÅ
- promoting the healthcare counselling profession
- working to remove barriers and promote inclusivity for counsellors in this division
- influencing career pathways and progression routes into healthcare settings
- championing current and future counselling leaders within Íø±¬ÃÅ and the wider profession
- creating stronger and clear links between Íø±¬ÃÅ and members of this division
- supporting access to free or low cost CPD relevant to working in a healthcare setting
- promoting clinical excellence by sharing best practice guidelines and commissioned research
- offering access to a quarterly journal
- giving support to regional networks of NHS counsellors and interest groups
